A coalition of trade
associations and health care providers across New York state is
putting the pressure on state legislators to help alleviate the
severe shortage of health care workers.
The Workforce
Investment Now Coalition issued recommendations for state
policy-makers at a press conference earlier this month and met
with members of the state Senate and Assembly, and the governor's
office to seek "concrete, immediate investments in expanding and
supporting New York's health care work force."
